Bake-Off Flunkie
A few years ago when the charter school we were trying to build was embroiled in scandal (not really, but, it seems to add to the story) I met a reporter. You know how reporters are - always in your face, trying to get facts, tracking down the juicy details...just one step away from paparazzi, right? Tiffiny was no exception. Just kidding.
That is how we met, but it would be another year before I would find her foodie blog and my husband would become her #1 fan (because he is a foodie). We spent several weeks discussing her creations until I finally told her of our ardent admiration. Since then, we have created a friendship based on food, gazebos, and Facebook.
Don't let her blog name fool you, though. She's no flunkie. In fact, she has even won a Foodie Fights contest! She bakes cakes for birthdays, holds bake sales to feed the hungry, and is writing a cookbook. I love cookbooks. I can't wait to get mine signed on her book tour.
