I've been reading about almonds. I read a study where somebody somewhere put two groups of people on the same eating program (it's not called a diet anymore - doncha know?) except one group ate 70-75 almonds every day in addition to the other foods. They lost something like 52% more weight eating way more calories.
Almonds are part of the GOMBS family of foods. Bring them on!
Today is the first day of school, which means getting up earlier. Last year I got up at 5:45 and worked out, but this year school starts a half an hour earlier than last year and I just can't do it. So I will be exercising in the afternoons or evenings and that will have to do. I'm not a morning person no matter how much I have tried to be. And I will never be a runner no matter who tells me that if I do it for six weeks I will love it.
However, exercise has to go along with eating right or healthiness (another word for diet) will elude me, therefore, two days a week I am going to be doing weight training for half an hour - just a nice happy weight training dvd. Two days a week I am going to be doing 30 minutes of Turbofire and then Saturdays I will probably put in a full hour. It's the best I can do. If I can do more than 30 minutes of exercise a day, I will do yoga.
I am also drinking Shakeology daily still. It keeps me regular.
