Back to the School Yard

I saw the following workout today on Pinterest.  Which didn't exist when I was in the school yard, but whatever.  I am going to try it and see what I think of it.  I made a big change in my life today - huge choice for me.  I feel good about the changes.  But, first I am going to try this:

2 Times Each in a Cycle
50 jumping jacks
5 pushups
20 situps
20 mountain climbers
30 second plank (this is going to be hard)
7 burpees

I'll let you know how it goes.


  1. Are you still going on this? How are those planks coming? And why on earth do they call them burpees?

    I'm still trying to lose that last bit of weight from baby Anna. I think I've finally discovered that I have to do a weight training class 2x a week (plus a day or two of cardio and one session of yoga weekly) to take it off. But at least it's finally starting to come off! The instructor I love is love with burpees, which is what caused me to leave this totally random comment. Anyhow ... good luck with the workouts.   2. I've done it a few times. :) I have been mixing it up, but I agree - weight training twice a week is definitely a must for anything to come off.
