Utah Natural Meat

A couple of weeks ago I watched Food, Inc. After I got over my initial disgust, I decided to go to work. And by going to work I mean I called my Happy Farm-going friend and neighbor and asked her what to do. She gave me a huge list of links that I am going to promote on here after I visit them.

My hope is to go to Utah Natural Meat and get some whole chickens to crockpot and shred for enchiladas and tacos and salads. We are trying to get as far away from processed foods as possible, which will require a little bit of effort to cook more. It's worth it to me, since I am getting old and getting more prone to yucky chronic illnesses.

You may reach Shayn or Kristen at Utah Natural Meat by phone to ask them questions about their farming practices, or to talk to them about placing orders.

  1. I'm so glad you posted about Utah Natural Meat on Facebook. I've got 4 chickens in the freezer and we've blown through 2 doz eggs in a week. I'm so excited to cook the chickens :)
