If my friend Trisha is reading this, she is nodding her head vigorously. If my friend Laurie is reading this, I may have just put her in a coma. Since she is the one that introduced these babies to me. On my birthday last year, Laurie showed up with four of these and I said, "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME." No, really. I think I probably said that.
So my feeling on these is that they should be a once a year thing. Only because having one sent my blood sugar to heaven. I took them to New York with me a couple of days later and my friend Sara and I agreed - just too sweet. Good, but too sweet. Now, don't get me wrong. I have a big sweet tooth! However, I don't know anyone that can handle the sheer amount of calories on a regular basis. So when you are looking for a major treat, go for one of these. And then plan on doing TurboFire the rest of the week.
Heidi- did you know that Beyond Glaze has baked donuts that have waaaayyyy less calories? My mom orders them, drives from Heber to get them, and serves them at parties - people love it! Ask for the low-cal ones next time (don't expect all the same goodness, but they certainly aren't bad :)
