Visionary Mode

I know I have been off the grid for the last few weeks.  First there was Las Vegas and then my birthday and then...well, let's just say that I am in Visionary mode verses Warrior mode these days.  When I am in Warrior mode, I am all about production and I blog like a maniac.  

And really - the past few months I have been so full of ideas that I have driven myself a little crazy.  I have probably driven other people crazy as well.  But this isn't about them, it's about me, because it is my blog.  To be honest, I am pretty used to people thinking I am slightly off.  If I really wanted to, I could hold up a mirror to them and show them how off THEY are.

Which brings me to The Bachelor.  I don't watch it.  I haven't watched it since the first round years ago when the dude didn't end up proposing.  He lost me at, "I am not sure."  At the time I was surrounded by indecisive men.  I didn't need to spend my valuable TV time in that space.  However, for some reason not only do I know almost everything going on with this season, but my non-Bachelor watching sister is blogging about it and I am invited to a Bachelor Season Finale Party next week (I'm going - for closure, ya know).  

Then there is the whole Fear Cycle I am learning about in the Paid to Play Academy.  The first step is to Be Aware of what you are feeling when you feel fear.  As in "What I am feeling?" and "Where is it coming from?"  The same thing can apply to anger since anger is just a mask of another emotion - usually fear.  It has transformed the way that I see myself as well as helping me to maybe, just maybe, understand why people do such weird things (like watch The Bachelor - just kidding - sorta).  

A few people have asked me what it is about the Paid to Play Academy that I am enjoying so much.  Here is what I love in no particular order.

1.  It is intellectually stimulating for me.  

2.  It digs deep into the beliefs that make me do stupid things and is helping me not just understand them, but let them go.

3.  It teaches me how to look at others from a place of understanding instead of judgment.

4.  It's fun and I am making quite a few interesting friends with fascinating ideas and the energy to implement them.

5.  Although my business coach, Garrett J. White, can come across as a total nut, he is actually extremely insightful and brilliant.
