Classics

For the past few weeks anytime my bestie and I have been at a loss for words it is common to hear one of us say, "Being....electrocuted!"  We always land in a fit of giggles as only people who came of age in the late 80s/early 90s do when quoting movies that those young people don't remember.  Or if they do, they shouldn't because they should have been living in their own decade.  Not like I watch movies from the 70s.  Ha!

The exception being my little sister who has always been an old soul with three much older sisters around.

So for Christmas when I opened So I Married an Axe Murderer, I laughed, my bestie laughed, and then for some reason we totally spaced that it was now in our movie library...until last night.

Last night we were supposed to do our second workout, but I got a call from a new friend who was interested in 10 Minute Trainer to get him started on the road to fitness.  He decided to sign up as a coach so that he can get the discount as well as really commit to his journey.  It is $14.95 a month to be a coach and right now they are waiving the sign up fee when you purchase a Challenge Pack (which comes with one of the workout programs and a month of Shakeology to try - which has a bottom of the bag guarantee), as well as a free month of the Beachbody Club Membership, so it's a great deal.  Cheaper and more effective than paying for online Weight Watchers - that is based on my experience!  Anyway...

So we missed the second workout, and since we were both sore from Les Mills Combat in the morning, we weren't complaining too much.  Then we were trying to figure out what to eat for dinner.  We ended up with a hodge podge of stuff - steamed broccoli, beans with my favorite new seasoning, and a green smoothie.  At some point I said the words, "Fru-its of the Dev-il" and we both half-yelled and then our decision for what to do that night had been made.  We put all of the kids to bed and watched So I Married an Axe Murderer.

It was as funny as I remembered it.

What is your go-to classic movie?  It doesn't have to be from the 80s or 90s.  Just any "If I want to watch a movie over and over again it would be..."
